Iberia offers more than 1,400 extra seats to Seville

On the occasion of the week-long annual April fair, Iberia has added 1,400 seats (700 in each direction) to its normal capacity between Madrid and the Andalusian city, in the May 1-10 period.

The airline will operate up to five daily return flights between the two cities in this period, for a total of some 7,200 seats in each direction.

Aside from the flights from Madrid, Iberia flies non-stop to Seville from the airports of Asturias, Vigo, Bilbao, Almeria, Alicante, Valencia, and the French city of Toulouse. By way of Madrid, Iberia passengers can reach Seville from any of more than 200 cities around the world, and from 109 of them in Iberia aircraft.

Flying high over the Alaskan Mountain Range is one of the most jaw dropping views we have ever witnessed.  We felt in good hands with our pilot Jim Andy of Fly Denali and had a phenomenal day up in the air. Our 2-hour flight was not only a thrill; it offered us a bird’s eye view of the worlds most rugged landscape.

Guest Post: Exploring Darwin’s Favorite Island on a Galapagos Cruise

IE Galapagos Islands cruise guest and journalist Julie Hatfield spent the last week exploring the Galapagos and mainland Ecuador with our knowledgeable guides, and was good enough to share her impressions of Santiago, Darwin’s favorite island.

On our morning walk we see the endemic Galapagos flycatcher, a famously sociable bird. In fact, as we hold out our hands, he hops closer and closer until he is sitting on our finger, totally unafraid, constantly curious. He even pecks at one of our camera lenses, supposedly seeing his reflection in the lens, and liking the sight. (

Chocolate Easter eggs for the little ones at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and free Easter eggs at selected airport hotels.

HolidayExtras.com celebrated the launch of its new Easter Bundle at selected airport hotels with a gift of 200 chocolate eggs to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital this week.

Jason Hindle from HolidayExtras.com delivered the eggs to the hospital’s play specialist Gill Bailey, he said: “It’s been such a treat to deliver these eggs for the children to enjoy this Easter.”
